The main traditional dish of the Kazakhs is besbarmak - boiled horse meat with small chopped pieces of dough, sprinkled with dill, parsley and cilantro, served on a large oval dish.

Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi - The mausoleum was built in honor of the famous poet Ahmed Yasawi in 1405 in the place where his grave was previously located. In the mausoleum there is a tomb, a mosque, a library, a pantheon.
